Can I book a single room on any of your retreats?

Yes, single accommodations are available. We strive to tailor our accommodations to meet your specific needs. There are limited rooms available so please get in touch today to secure your spot!

What do I need to bring on your retreats?

We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, any personal items you may need, and of course, a book to read!

Do you offer interest free payment plans?

Yes! We can offer Humm90 which will allow up to 12 months interest free.

Do I have to pay in full when booking a retreat?

Nope – All you need is a $300 per person non-refundable deposit.

How do I book my spot on one of your retreats?

Please submit an enquiry through our website. Simply select your preferred room type and we will send you the details and invoice.

Are there any age restrictions on your retreats?

We want everyone to feel welcome - whether you're in your 30s, 60s or even 90s - if you love reading, you're invited to join our adventures! However, please note that due to some of our epic activities like archery and cocktail making, our journeys are currently for those 18 and over.

I'm travelling from interstate, can you assist with travel and transport?

Absolutely! Georgie, our Adventure Architect, is able to book your domestic flights and organise airport transfers for you, thanks to our partners at Go Trvl.

A Retreat to the Night Court

Do I need to have read ACOTAR before the trip?
No, absolutely not, but we will be running an ACOTAR themed trivia on night one, so there may be some minor spoilers! You can use this weekend as your escape to actually get some reading done!!

Do I need to attend all the activities on the retreat?

Not at all! While we’ve curated a range of activities for you to enjoy, all of them are completely optional. This weekend is yours to spend how you wish. You can choose to attend as many (or as few) activities as you like, ensuring your retreat experience is tailored to your personal preferences. Whether you want to join every session or simply unwind and relax, it’s entirely up to you!

When is full payment due?
Payment is due in full by 2 April 2025.

My whole book club wants to come – Can we stay together?
Absolutely!! We encourage this – There are 2 bedroom apartments available (sleeps 4). Otherwise we can always request that you are placed in rooms nice and close together – Just mention it to us at time of booking!

I would love to join the Retreat to the Night Court but I don't have anyone to go with?

Solo travellers are more than welcome and we would love to have you! You can book a shared room, and we will match you with another single guest. Please note that if no other single traveller books into your room, you will need to pay the full room price.

Where is Chateau Elan?

The retreat is hosted at the luxurious Château Élan at The Vintage, located in the picturesque Hunter Valley, NSW. It’s a perfect escape, just a 45-minute drive from Newcastle or a 2-hour drive from Sydney, making it an easily accessible destination for a magical getaway. Set amidst rolling vineyards and serene landscapes, it’s the ideal place to relax, connect, and immerse yourself in the retreat experience.

When is the retreat?

A Retreat to the Night Court will take place from Friday, 1st August to Sunday, 3rd August 2025.

Retreat Start Time: 3:00 PM on Friday, 1st August
Retreat End Time: 11:00 AM on Sunday, 3rd August

Can you book airport transfers to the retreat?

To make your arrival as seamless as possible, we offer return airport transfers for your convenience:

Return transfers from Newcastle Airport: $200 per person
Return transfers from Sydney Airport: $400 per person

Can you book flight packages to the retreat?

We also offer inclusive flight and transfer packages, which include both return flights and airport transfers to ensure a stress-free experience. Prices are as follows:

Brisbane to Hunter Valley: From $499 per person
Melbourne to Hunter Valley: From $599 per person
Adelaide to Hunter Valley: From $799 per person
Perth to Hunter Valley: From $899 per person
